Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been earned on hardcourt
A resurgent Medvedev secured his initial trophy for nearly 30 months with victory over Corentin Moutet in the competition championship match.
The athlete, a former top-ranked player, has experienced a challenging period, winning just one match at the Grand Slams and experiencing a setback at the US Open.
The player's varied form on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his serve in specific - led to him exiting of the elite rankings and eventually separating with long-time trainer Gilles Cervara.
Now training with his coach and Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually progressed in the past month - climaxing in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over challenger Moutet.
This represents Medvedev's first title after the Italian tournament and maiden on a hard court since March of the previous year.
Victory also means Medvedev has secured 21 victories at twenty-one various events.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a tournament with my children simultaneously, so to win a championship is particularly special," stated ranked player Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my child my daughter, because the first title I won when my older daughter her name was born was for her."
The athlete, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his previous six finals, including in that event earlier this year.
Medvedev's defensive approach and regular emotional displays on the tennis court had caused observers to question if his skill to play at the top level was finished.
Yet the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the last few weeks, attempting to advance forward and play positively, supported by an improved service.
Medvedev recovered from a break down in the opening set against the challenging Frenchman, securing 4 of the last five exchanges to gain the advantage.
The competitors swapped service breaks in the middle set before Moutet, bidding for his initial professional championship, took control to push for a final set.
The opponent saved 4 initial chances in a tight final set before the Russian secured a break to 15 to secure the win.
Suitably, the winner earned victory with a point at the net, with Moutet failing to handle a shot after a lengthy match.
